Consistency – The Key To Building Lean Muscle
If you want to look like one of those ripped hunks that are sported on the covers of Men’s Health, or even like one of those gorgeous babes who seem to leave scores of heartbroken guys in their wake, then you’re going to want to build up some lean muscle. By doing so, you’ll find that your body shape becomes increasingly more sexy and appealing.
While the means to achieving this look is to carry out weight training of various kinds, the truth is that behind it all, there is one key that is more important than all others. No, it isn’t a ‘big secret’, or a ‘hidden technique’ of any kind. Instead, it’s really just about one thing: Consistency.
All too often, people start off with weight training but then slack off slightly. At first, it may just be a single postponed workout. After that, it may be a skipped one, and two, and three… Before you know it, you’re in a snowball and you’re starting to travel downhill pretty quickly, missing workouts along the way.
Unfortunately, this is going to have disastrous affects when it comes to your desire to build up lean muscle. Frankly speaking, building up lean muscle requires regular workouts. Without regular workouts, you’re never going to get the growth and tone that you desire. In fact, you’ll find that whatever muscle you did build up quickly becomes ‘flabby’ and looks even less appealing than it did to begin with.
In a nutshell, you need to commit, right here and right now, to consistently working out.
If you are able to develop consistency, then you’ll find that before you know it, you look and feel like a star. If you aren’t, then you could very well find yourself right back there at square one – or worse. End of the day, the choice is yours: What do you want to see when you look in the mirror?
